Urban Wildlife Control | Racoon Captured


After a week of mixing crushed Nutter Butters and dogfood, our young friend next door finally captured this Midnight Marauder!  Yes, that's a racoon - the bandit mask is a dead giveaway.  And yes, our racoon is cuter than a six-pack of stuffed toys.  But those darling little fingers have very sharp and pointy claws, so beware:  Best to let the pros handle him from this point on.

Next step was to call the City of West University Place - Unfortunately, West U animal control people won't take racoons.  Happily, grandpa loaded up the pickup and drove to the Missouri City animal control folks, who will release our critter back into the wild.  Thank you, grandpa!
