The allure of real estate prompted Lynn to get her license in 1984, and she hit the pavement running by working for some of Houston's top firms. She so impressed her clients that one of them encouraged her to apply for a job as the financial manager for M.D. Anderson's highly successful Children's Art Project at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. It was a time of growth and change for the project and a cherished experience for Lynn. During her four-year tenure, Lynn expanded her knowledge of finance, technology, marketing and time management – perfect skills for any Realtor in today’s market.

As an agent with Roger Martin Properties and a resident of West University Place, Lynn has the support, access and market experience to serve Houston’s close-in neighborhoods, including West University, Southampton, River Oaks, Boulevard Oaks, Braes Heights, Afton Oaks, Memorial, Briargrove and Tanglewood. Lynn’s husband Craig Hughes is a licensed architect and together they founded Hughes Building & Design, Inc., a company which has specialized in designing and building residential homes since 1984.

Of course this well-rounded Realtor has a healthy mix of personal interests that include fly-fishing, traveling and cooking. She also loves finding interesting antiques and art and following new trends, elements and colors in home construction and renovation. Lynn is a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and SMU Cox Business School Alumni Association. She has been associated with the Southampton Garden Club and the Theta Mothers' Club.
